TRIPLING DOWN ON SUSTAINABILITY

Reduce - Thanks to its proprietary technology, Heat-MX™ insulation outperforms market alternatives by providing greater warmth while using significantly less material. Greater product efficiency results in reduced material and energy consumption during production.

Reuse - The manufacturing process of Heat-MX™ is highly efficient. Whereas the typical manufacturing process for non-woven fabrics generates roughly 10-15% as waste, Heat-MX™ uses an innovative procedure to reinsert discarded material back into the manufacturing process. By reusing material, this breakthrough, no-waste process eliminates an enormous quantity of industrial waste.

Recycle - Conventional recycling of textiles actually creates various environmental issues. For example, heavy amounts of chemicals are used for cleaning (i.e. removal of dirt and microbes) as well as dyeing. Furthermore, most recycled fibers are created through crushing of plastics which introduces microplastic contamination into our water systems.

Heat-MX™ bypasses the harmful processes of chemical cleaning, dyeing, and crushing, due to its homogenous fiber composition, which enables it to be recycled through the simplified two-step process of melting and extrusion.

Less is more. Through technical innovation and its unique fiber structure, Heat-MX™ provides a superior level of thermal insulation. Shown to deliver the same amount of warmth with just half the amount of material compared to market alternatives, Heat-MX™ packs a serious punch whether fighting against the cold or for the environment.

REUSING MATERIAL

During production, a sheet of non-woven fabric is trimmed on both sides. The side pieces are traditionally discarded as they lack the uniform consistency of the center section. Through breakthrough manufacturing processes, Heat-MX™ is able to instead re-insert these side pieces back into the production cycle, thereby achieving a no-waste, 100% yield.

RECYCLING SMART

Traditional recycling methods create a heavy carbon footprint. Harmful processes used in reclaiming or creating recycled fibers (e.g. chemical cleaning, dyeing, and mechanical crushing) are energy-intensive and release pollutants into the environment. Due to its unique fiber composition, Heat-MX™ can be recycled while bypassing the aforementioned harmful steps.
